Stephanie Waring confirmed for Dancing on Ice
Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Waring has confirmed that she'll be taking part in the new series of
Dancing On Ice.
"I’m
super excited to be selected or the show... I’m very nervous, it’s just
so much to take on but I think I'm up for the challenge," she revealed
on
BUILD this morning.
And
she also revealed that she's already a week into rehearsals, admitting
that her goal is to "be as good as previous contestants... especially
Jorgie Porter” who she says is “one of my all-time favourites."
The star the twelfth and final star to sign up to the show, which is returning to ITV next year.

She was apparently up against two other Hollyoaks stars
Stephanie,
who plays Cindy Cunningham in the Channel 4 soap, was reportedly
battling it out for a place on the show with her soap co-stars Sarah
Jayne Dunn and Anna Passey.
All three actresses wanted to take part, but were apparently told by bosses that only one of them would be signed.

The Sun: "Dancing on Ice bosses have reached out to nearly 50 celebrities in total about taking part in the new series.

Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are all returning to the rebooted series

"There’s a big pool of talent, but only those who can prove they have
the ability to actually tackle some of the harder moves and the training
will make it in.
"They really want a glamorous soap star in the show, and three of the
Hollyoaks girls are in with a shout but only one of them is going to
make it."
Coronation Street stars Anthony Cotton and Brooke Vincent have also been
confirmed, along with GBBO's Candice Brown, the X Factor's Jake
Quickenden, Love Island 's Kem Cetinay and Good Morning Britain's Alex Beresford.

Donna Air - who's dating James Middleton - will also compete,
alongside Cheryl Baker, Max Evans, Monty Panesar and Perri
Shakes-Drayton.
Jason Gardiner is going to be a judge alongside skating legends Torvill and Dean and Ashley Banjo.
The Aussie Mr Nasty confirmed he was returning to the show by appearing on Lorraine.
